Gregg Daly (1969)
License Collector
City of St. Louis
|
Additionally, Gregg owned and operated a string of successful small businesses. Perhaps the most memorable was the teen and family destination in south St. Louis - Hi-Land miniature golf course at River Des Peres and Chippewa.
In 1998, Gregg was appointed by Governor Mel Carnahan to be the city's License Collector. He was then elected by voters to the fill the position in 2002. Gregg has earned accolades for reducing bureaucracy and increasing efficiency within the office. Collections for the city are up and the process for businesses to pay is more streamlined than ever before.
Gregg has been involved in numerous charities and civic improvement initiatives. Most recently he has worked to help organize canned food drives for homeless families in the metro area.
