| The Augustinian Academy Alumni Scholarship |
|
This scholarship was created in 1988 to support
Catholic secondary education. In order to
qualify for the scholarship the applicant's
father must have attended Augustinian Academy
during its existence from 1961 through 1972.
There are two scholarships available annually.
The applicant must submit the scholarship application and an essay of no more than 200 words on the subject: "What Does a Catholic Education Mean to Me?" The essays will have the applicant's name removed and assigned a number. The essays will then be submitted to a panel independent of the Alumni Association for judging and they will determine the two winners. Click here to download the scholarship application. Applications will not be accepted prior to January 1st of the applicant's 8th grade graduation year. Any applications received prior to January 1st of the 8th grade graduation year will not be considered. The applications must be postmarked no later than March 31st of the 8th grade graduation year. Applications received with a postmark later than March 31st of the 8th grade graduation year will not be considered.
